Operating Assumptions
This proposal is built on the following baseline coverage model, designed to match your production cadence while eliminating bottlenecks between plant and warehouse.
Daily Coverage
18 hours per day (28.5 labor hours)
0400 to 2300, Monday through Friday
Saturday Coverage
As needed: Up to 18 hours
Billed at overtime rate (1.35x)
Shuttle Volume
5 to 11 shuttles per day
Rate follows volume fluctuation
Plant Spotting
8 total hours per day:
4 hrs 1st shift, 2 hrs to start 2nd and 3rd
Warehouse Spotting
Assuming similar hours to plant
15 to 17 dock doors, 25 to 50 drop trailer spaces
Your Dedicated Program
Spot On Logistics will provide a fully dedicated yard management and shuttle operation at your Oklahoma City animal nutrition facility. This is a turn-key solution: our drivers, our trucks, our trailers, our management layer, built around your production schedule.
2 Dedicated Shuttle Trucks
Two day-cab tractors for shuttle runs and yard spotting across both shifts, matched to your production tempo:
- Trailer swaps and pull shuttles from 3rd shift
- Keep up with yard moves and shuttles across 2 shifts
- Prep both locations for 3rd shift
3 CDL Drivers, 2 Shifts
1st Shift (0400 to 1330): 2 drivers for peak throughput.
2nd Shift (1330 to 2300): 1 driver maintaining flow into the evening. Covers both shuttles and yard switches.
Shuttle Loop
Continuous shuttle between the plant and your offsite warehouse. 5 to 11 transfers per day, keeping finished product moving between production and distribution staging.
18 Dedicated Trailers
A full trailer pool staged across both locations for maximum throughput:
- 4 to 6 in docks at the plant
- 6 to 10 in docks/yard at the warehouse
- 1 to 2 on the road shuttling
Provides best flexibility for unloading at the warehouse without creating a bottleneck.

Weekend Overtime Rates
The base agreement covers 142.5 contracted hours per week (Monday through Friday). The rates below apply only to additional overtime hours requested beyond the contracted schedule. You pay only for the OT hours you need.
Base hourly rate: $81.54/hour

Multi-Year Term Discounts
We reward partnership commitment. For each year you sign, we take 1% off the total, up to a 5% discount on a 5-year agreement.
Annual COLA Adjustment: 3.5% | Multi-year agreements include a 3.5% annual cost-of-living adjustment beginning in Year 2 to account for labor, fuel, and equipment costs.
Available Add-Ons
These optional enhancements can be added to the base program at any point during the contract term.
EV Spotter Truck
Electric yard tractor for each location. Fuel savings, lower emissions, improved uptime with fewer moving parts. Price per unit.
Additional Truck
ICE-powered backup for shuttle or spotting expansion at either location. CDL driver included. Price per unit.
Trucking Runs with Shuttle Trucks
Leverage your dedicated shuttle fleet for local or route deliveries during downtime windows. Billed per loaded mile.
*Optional: 2 Yard Tractors (one for each location) are available as an alternative to using day cabs for spotting.
